SACRAMENTS
Baptism Certificate copies are required for each Sacrament.

First Reconciliation and First Communion are taught in 2nd grade

TRADITION: The child must attend, at least, one year of Catholic faith formation classes/programming immediately prior to his/her sacramental year.

FOR EXAMPLE: Upcoming 2nd graders should have attended 1st grade the prior year.

EXPECTATION: Child should have, at least, the following prayers memorized prior to First Reconciliation: Sign of the Cross (properly), Glory Be, Hail Mary, & Our Father/Lord's Prayer. Your child will be taught an Act of Contrition in 2nd grade.

IMPORTANT 2021 FIRST RECONCILIATION & FIRST EUCHARIST DATES for 2nd GRADERS

• November 3, 2021 (6pm): Parent Meeting at St. Ann's Parish Center
• January 26, 2022 (5:15pm): Reconciliation Service at St. Ann's Parish Center
• April 14, 2022 (7pm): Attend Holy Thursday Mass
• April 24, 2022 (9am, 11:30am, 1:30pm): First Communion Masses
